This week the hosts of Fashion Flash are the Glam Gals of Fabulous After 40. In the three years since I first became a fan, I’ve watched my fashion sense grow more confident with every shopping trip. I used to be drawn to a new sweater or bag, but did not know how to wear it. Or I would see a trend like stripes or flowers, but I was not sure how to integreate them into the rest of my closet. With laser-like accuracy the Glam Gals would would come up with stylish yet practical solutions. They also have an eye for details that never occurred to me. For example, I was lucky enough to me shopping with Jojami in NYC and showed her a grey cotten sweater coat. She pointed out that might be too cool to wear as a coat and too long to wear under my knee length winter coat. Its details like this that can be the difference between frumpy and fantastic. They have also published original and always helpful fashion guides including Color Me Confident, Mother of the Bride and and Chic on the Cheap. They have just published their first e-book Jumpstart Your Style and it was the first book I downloaded on my I- Pad. Now I can toss it in my purse and take it out when shopping to keep my choices smart and beautiful. This month when you order Jump Start Your Style you’ll also get their Top Fall Fashion Treds 2012 Report for free. Now that’s what I call Cheap Chic.
